Bronx Plumbing Company faces overtime class action amid text notice issues

SDNY Courthouse, December 14 – Derrick Roman used Bronx-based Jasco Plumbing for non-payment of overtime.

On December 14, Judge Gregory H. Woods of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York held proceedings. Inner City Press has it covered.

Things have reached the conditional certification of a collective action step. Justice Woods expressed doubts about sending an SMS notice.

The case is Roman et al v. Jasco Plumbing & Heating Supply, Inc. et al., 21-cv-4030 (Woods)
